Admission of Students


To Full Time Degree Courses-October 1971


Applications are invited for admission in October 1971,
to the three Campuses of the University of the West In-
dies. Students who will have attained the age of 17 years
on 31st December, 1971, will normally be eligible for ad-


mission. However, applicants below this age who satisfy
the normal ('A' level) Matriculation requirements are al-
so eligible.

APPLICATIONS


Application forms are available from the Assistant Re-
gistrar Student Affairs, at Mona, St. Augustine and Cave
Hill, and from Resident Tutors in territories without cam-
puses. Application forms should be submitted to the Assis-
tant Registrar at the campus at which applicants intend
to read for their degree.

Application forms should be completed in TRIPLICATE.

LATE APPLICATIONS: Late applications for entry
ONLY, may be sub mitted up to 31st March, 1971 and must
be accompanied by a late application fee of J. $1.05, E.C.
$2.52 T. & T. $2.52.

SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION FEBRUARY 1971
1. Scholarships administered by the University, Go-

vernment Exhibitions and Bursaries are awarded on the
results of a Scholarship Examination.
2. This Examination will be held during the period
25th February to 3rd March, 1971.
3. The closing date for applications to write the Exam-
ination is 15th December, 1970.
4. No applications to write the Scholarship Examina-
tion received after the 15th December, 1970, will be accept-
ed.
5. Applications to write this Examination must be ac-
companied by a fee of J. $2.50, E.C. $6.00, T. & T. $6.00 This
fee will not be refunded in cases of withdrawals.
The Scholarship Examination consists of:
(1) A General Paper, and
(2) Two main papers chosen from the list of sub-
jects below:
