Greg Cunningham
When Mr.Cunningham was in high school, the
week of spirit week was all spirit days, and other
days of the school year were days like Back in the
Day day and Clash day. In high school, he dressed
up for the different spirit days. Mr. Cunningham
said he had a lot of school spirit, and he still does.
He continues every year, as a teacher, to dress up
on the days of spirit week.
8th grade Teacher

MLegan St.

Germain
Sophomore Megan St. Germain says her favorite
day was Tacky Day because "You get to wear all
your clothes at the same time and express your
personality."
This year, there were "alternate" spirit days on
Facebook for P.K. St. Germain said. "I thought
some of the spirit days they had on Facebook were
better than the ones at school."

Gamp

Kulaqua

m ii

When you start school again after the
summer, you come back to school work, teachers
and friends. The trip that a lot of P.K. students look
forward to is their class trip to Camp Kulaqua in
High Springs. This is a major trip because you get
to go have fun swimming in the spring or going to
the water park to relax in the lazy river or ride the
waves in the wave pool.
Either way, it's a trip we all take to create
bonds with new friends and to get to know your
new teachers.
"The best thing to do is the blob, it's great
watching your friends being thrown helplessly into
the air," says Junior Christina Estevez.
Some of the upperclassmen complete the
obstacles and learn to trust each other with
exercises including the trust fall or the big wall
where you get lifted up over a wall to the top by
your classmates.
I like getting to spend all day with my friends
and just having fun" says junior Sophie Denardo.
It's a great way to break the bond of cliques
and just hang out where everyone is equal and we
just share smiles and lasting memories.

Varsity

Football

This season was
a hard one for the
Blue Wave with only
18 players on the
Varsity team.
Senior wide
,-4receiver Devin
Wilson said that the
small size of the
team made them try
harder, "Because we
have to play both
ways."
Despite the
smaller size of the
2010-2011 team, the
Blue Wave certainly
proved that it's not
the size of the boat,
but the motion of the
ocean that counts.
