FQliage plants are subject to a multitude of problems caused by
Un' "sitvy A-@A mites, environmental stresses and pathogens. The following
.listing is given to characterize the pathogens which cause diseases on
the most widely grown foliage plants. When contemplating new crops to
-produce, growers can consult this listing to select the most
pathogen-free crops or those which are not known to be susceptible to a
particular pathogen. Further information on a disease can usually be
obtained by consulting one or more of the references listed below.
Unfortunately not all diseases listed have been adequately described.
In either case, the most current source of information in a general
reference can be found in reference #2.
