INTRODUCTION

Fusarium wilt is a problem on a number of vegetable and ornamental
crops in Florida. Research programs to develop methods of wilt control
were conducted by an interdisciplinary group of scientists, primarily
attached to the Research Center at Bradenton. Special emphasis was placed
on integrated systems that caused a reduction in wilt. These systems
included soil pH (lime additions), use of nitrate nitrogen,
chemotherapeutants, as well as other factors such as soil fumigants,
resistant cultivars, fungicides, mulches, nematicides and soil
solarization. Following is a list of papers classified as to subject and
a complete bibliography of the literature citations published from 1962-
1988.
