Product: Fibre used in making brooms and brushes. The

only products they actually manufacture are whisk brooms of various
sizes. The fibre is gathered from cabbage palmettos by individuals

or groups, non-employoes of the company, and treated at the plant.

The Company is a corporation within itself, owning all the building
which, exclusive of the f..otory, are: office building, post office,
/
store, 18 colored dwellings and 4 white residences. The location
is on both the Florida East Coast and Atlantic Coast Line Railroads,

and shipments are made to all parts of the United States. The plant

is in operation 9 months each year, and has been located there about

8 years. Mr. J. A. right is present general maAager.
