The ceremony as l'-iiiri''uil by the
Jews is'altogether ,iiir'-,iit t'n '.,ii, the or"
dinary way, and aside from the curiosi-
ty that pervades all persons at all times
to attend a marriage, this added to 'the
interest of the occasion. Before tihe hour
appointed had arrived, Roper's Hall was
well filled with invited guests, and
promptly at 7:3.0 Mendelsohn's marriage
march was commenced, and the bride
an groom, Miss Bertha.Brown and Mr.,
- Herman Glowgoski, preceded by two
t"iny little girls, and follow by 3Mr. and
Mrs.. Brown, Mr. and Mted M. Endel,
and a number of others entered the room.
The ceremony was performed by Rabi
S.'Gerstian, under a canopy as is usual
at such weddings, and included the glass
breaking, drinking of the wine, &c.
After the wedding a supper took place
at Mrs. Brown's, and to-day the happy
couple left for St. Augustinue.
This is conceded -by all a well mated
pair, and they enter upon life's journey
with the well-wishes of almost of friends.

Every prominent Southe-ril man
interviewed for the northern press,
feels called upon to p.-irticularly em-

meet with the same justice in our
courts as do white men. Thic is si-

take to explain away troubles that
do riot exist. The "man and br,:,th-
