The Florida Department of Environmental Regulation announces a public
workshop to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: May 1, 1981, 10:30 A.M.
PLACE: Fourth Floor Conference Rooms B & D, Twin Towers Office
Building, 2600 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.
PURPOSE: To request and receive comments regarding amendments to
Chapter 17-40, Water Policy. The portion of Chapter 17-40 dealing
with General Policy, Section 17-40.03 and a subsection dealing with
property rights in water, Section 17-40.04(5), were continued to
allow additional public input.
AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION: A draft of the proposed rule may be
obtained from the Office of General Counsel or Office of Public
Information at the above address.

The Department of Environmental Regulation announces proposed
withdrawal of proposed amendments to Rule 17-6.01(2)(a)2.b.(xxv),
Florida Administrative Code, Effluent Guidelines and Standards for
Mineral Mining and Processing Phosphate Rock Subcategory (Docket
No. 76-29R), noticed as a proposed amendment to 17-3.04(2)(a)2.a.
(xxv) in the Florida Administrative Weekly, November 5, 1976, Vol.
2, No. 45, at pp. 30-32, and subsequently renumbered. A substitute
proposed rule (Docket No. 81-10R) will be noticed at a later date
for consideration along with the above proposed withdrawal by the
Environmental Regulation Commission at a public hearing at 9:00
o'clock a.m., June 10, 1981, at the Holiday Inn (Airport), 4500
West Cypress Street, Tampa, Florida.
The Department of Environmental Regulation announces a meeting of
the Hazardous Waste Policy Advisory Council. The public is invited
and will be given the opportunity to be heard.

PLACE: City Council Chambers, City Hall, 220 E. Bay Street,
PURPOSE: Continue the evaluation of Council responsibilities
and formulation of recommendations concerning Florida's hazardous
