SUBJECT: Renumbering of District Rules

In Sonny's absence, I am passing on some "advice" we received
from the Administrative Procedures Committee.

When assigning numbers to the various sections of the new
40-series of district rules, avoid both all two-digit or
less numbers, and section numbers that end in zero.

According to Zane Leeper of the committee staff, use of three-
digit or larger numbers and numbers which end with something
other than zero will help you in subsequent additions to
your rules, and will avoid problems with computerization of
the Florida Administrative Code in Tallahassee.

A detailed explanation of the reasons would require a two-
page memo, but Mr. Leeper indicated he would be happy to
explain it all if you call him at 488-9110.
