Pursuant to the Florida Electrical Power Plant Siting Act, Sections
403.505-403.516, F.S., the enclosed copy of the ten-year site plan of
Tampa Electric Company (2 vols.) is herewith forwarded for your review
and comment. ., -fF)r'i PF w/r. eV R,

Planned and prospective generating facility additions and changes
can be found on page 111.4. A discussion of TECO's Big Bend Station
preferred site begins in Volume 2. Environmental information regarding
their Beacon Key site will be forwarded at a later date as an amendment
to their ten-year plan.

There will be a meeting of concerned state agencies in about six weeks
to discuss the contents of the plan. Tampa Electric Company officiaTs will
be available at that time to receive any advisory comments and answer any
questions state agency representatives may have concerning the proposed
sites. Please do not submit written comments on the plan prior to the
meeting. ---"--- ---

403.505-403.516, F.S., the enclosed copy of the ten-year site plan of
Florida Power and Light Company is herewith forwarded for your review
and comment.-

Planned and prospective generating facility additions and changes
can be found on pages 53 and 54. A discussion of the proposed sites
begins on page 60. Your attention is directed, in particular, toward
Florida Power and Light's preferred site at South Dade and their potential
site at De Soto.

There will be a meeting of concerned state agencies to discuss the
contents of the plan on June 11, 1975, at 9:00 a.m., in the Division of
State Planning Conference Room on the third floor of the IBM Building.
Florida Power and Light officials will be available at that time to answer
any questions you might have concerning the proposed sites. Please do not
submit written comments on the plan prior to the meeting.
