PROVISIONS IN THE SENATE BILL AND NOT IN THE HOUSE BILL

1. Assigned supervision of environmental district office to
Deputy Secretary of the Department of Environmental
Regulation. REJECTED

2. Authorized subdistrict offices of the Department of Environmental
Regulation collocated with Department of Administration
regional planning council offices. REJECTED

3. Governor and Cabinet sit as Board of Trustees of the Internal
Improvement Trust Fund when acting on appeals involving
state lands. ADOPTED

4. The Environmental Regulation Commission has final state i
approval of federal grants. ADOPTED

5. Authorized the Secretary of the Department of Environmental
Regulation to delegate certain permitting responsibilities
to the environmental districts or water management districts.
