SWFWMD BASIN BOARDS TO HOLD
A special meeting of at least three of Southwest Florida Water Management
District's (SWFWMD's) eight basin boards is scheduled for Monday, July 2, 1984, at 7:00
p.m. The meeting, to be held at the SWFWMD office in Tampa located at 7601 U. S.
Highway 301 North, was called at the request of the Alafia River, Withlacoochee River
and Northwest Hillsborough Basin Boards to discuss potential action by the SWFWMD
Governing Board relating to the basin boards. Other boards may be calling a meeting at
the same time, place and location.
At a meeting scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on July 5, at the same location, the Governing
Board will consider a change to the existing basin boards' structure and taxing authority.
