MEMORANDUM

TO: WITHLACOOCHEE RIVER BASIN BOARD MEMBERS

FROM: Wm. 0. Stubbs, Jr., Chairman Ex Officio t 0 l

RE: Governng Board Meeting, July 11, 1984

I am taking this means to let al of you know that at the Board meeting on
July 11, 1984, the Governing Board took action to continue District
operations through the current Basin Board concept and adopted a proposed
village for our Basin of .09 mill as opposed to the .71 proposed mileage you
adopted at your June 26 meeting. This was done because the staff.
recommended transferring a number of budgeted expenditures from the .
Basin budget to the District-wide budget with a corresponding upward \
adjustment of the District-wide village.

The same procedure was followed in hadling the proposed millage for all
of the other Basins.

I am satisfied that one of the projects included in the budget which was
tentatively adopted by you are in jeopardy and also that the funds which
"would have been raised outside of the Withlacoochee Regional Water Supply -
Authority's boundaries will still be available with the adjusted proposed
villages.

I am asking Mrs. White to please furnish each of you a copy of the
Governing Board minutes concerning this issue when they become available.

I will be happy to meet with you at any mutually convenient time should
you desire.
