SUBJECT: Mater Supply and Transmission Facilities for Hillsborough
County 1980 through 2000
District staff, representatives from the Hillsborough County Utilities iDpart-
meat, and their consultants (see attached list of attendee) met oR Decer 7,
1979 to discuss plans for replacing sell public supply wells with three (3)
major well fields in northwest Hillsborough County. The major reasons for this
proposed action involve improved water quality and economic advantages.
The major concern expressed at the meting was In reference to the "peratability"
of the proposed well fields. This is in light of potential interference with
existing well fields, saltwater Intrusion concerns, and possible further decline
> of the potentiometric surface In the area.

the "Rule Criteria* as outlined In 164-2.11, Florida Statutes, and
f studies, tests, and data that were required in Issuace of previous
