Dear Don:

Your recent efforts to initiate actions which include the
WCRWSA either in the information or review channel on new
applications for Consumptive Use Permits is certainly a
step in the right direction, and is greatly appreciated.
Your staff has been very helpful in sending us, from time
to time, computer print-outs of CUP applications. However,
this form of data includes many applications which are not
of primary interest to the WCRWSA and, unless we are
familiar with the proposed use, the data is not given in
enough detail.

It would be of greater benefit if the WCRWSA was aware of,
from the very beginning, all domestic use CUP applications
in the three-county area of responsibility. Details for-
warded with each of these applications are necessary for
incorporation in our planning processes, as well as the
advance preparation of a response when requested by SWFWMD.

I will greatly appreciate your arranging for the WCRWSA to
be placed on automatic distribution by the applicants to
receive a copy of completed CUP application forms. The
automatic distribution should also include alterations and
significant correspondence affecting each application.

Sincere

Richard J. Hesse
General Manager
