3 A bill to be entitled

4 An act relating to eminent domain, fees for deposit

5 and disbursement of money; amending section 28.24

6 (14), Florida Statutes, relating to service charges

7 by clerks of circuit court; providing an effective

8 date.

10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12 Section 1. Subsection 28.24 (14), Florida Statutes

13 is amended to read:

14 28.24 Service charges by clerk of the circuit court.--

15 The clerk of the circuit court shall make the following

16 charges for services rendered by his office in recording

17 documents, instruments, and in performing the duties

18 enumerated:

19 Charges

20 (14) For receiving money into the registry

21 of court:

22 (a) In connection with eminent domain cases

23 (1) First deposit received . . 5.00

24 (2) Each subsequent deposit received in

25 same case ... . . . . 2.50

26 (3) Each separate disbursement. . .. 1.00Q

27 (b) In connection with matters other than

28 eminent domain cases.

29 (1) fa} First $500.00, percent . .. 1
