3 A bill to be entitled

4 An act relating to Hillsborough County; provid-

5 ing that the power of eminent domain shall not

6 be exercised within the county or the municipali-

7 ties therein by the governing authority of any

8 county or municipality not within Hillsborough

9 County; providing an effective date.

11 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of et State of Florida:

12

13 Section 1. The right of .inent domain granted to

14' counties by 127.01, Florida -rSttutes, and to municipalities

15 by 166.401, Florida Statute7p, shall not be exercised within

16 the territorial boundarisof Hillsborough County or within

17 the corporate limits o any municipality in Hillsborough County,

18 except by the governing authority of such county or municipali-

19 ty in accordance with the provisions of such respective sec-

20 tions. Any law which provides for the exercise of such au-

21 thority by the governmental authority of any county or munici-

22 pality not within such territorial boundaries or corporate

23 limits is hereby superseded to the extent that its provisions

are in conflict with this act.
25 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
26
law.
