Materials filed with the District directly bearing upon those
applications were forwarded with the "notice." Other "materials"
in the files were not.

I hope this satisfactorily answers your inquiry.

Re: West Coast Regional Water Supply v.
SWFWMD (NW Regional Wellfield)

Dear Tom:

This is in response to your letter dated August 17, 1983.

Please recall your visit to District Headquarters in July, when
you reviewed many records kept in the vault in Building 3. You
were particularly interested in matters in the "File of Record"
respecting Consumptive Use Permit No. 204273 held by Hillsborough
County for its Sheldon Road Well Field, and requested copies of
many of the materials in such public record. Based upon your
visit, I am sure you appreciate how voluminous the public records

As you know, the WCRWSA Application No. 206676 includes the con-
solidation of 16 existing public supply CUPs (including Sheldon
Road), as well as construction of six new wells to replace/supple-
ment existing permitted wells. Each of these existing CUPs has
its own "File of Record" going back to the original application
for an initial CUP.

Paragraph seven of the Notice of Referral was only intended to
advise that in addition to those "materials filed with the agency"
which were forwarded to the DOAH with the Petition (as referenced
in paragraph 5(7)), other "materials" are in our files (including
the several hundred objections received).

The pending proceedings relate to the pending applications respect-
ing which formal proceedings and referral to the DOAH were requested.
