Re: Application by City of St. Petersburg for
Consumptive Use Permit for Cypress Creek

Dear Myron:

Enclosed is a copy of Motion to Intervene by Covington Development
Company on the City of St. Petersburg for an application for Consump-
tive Use on its wells in Cypress Creek.

The City's applications have not been scheduled as of yet for a
Hearing. I am requesting the Permits Department in the District
Regulatory Division to notice the intervenor's attorney. Buddy
Blain has already advised me to notice the attorney for Covington
interest of any applications in Cypress Creek. This is in accordance
with a request during one of the Hearings on the Lake Padgett Pines
suit.

Should you feel anything further should be done, please advise.

Very truly yours,

JAY T. AHERN
Staff Attorney
