Mr. Donald R. Feaster, Executive Director
Southwest Florida Water Management District .....
P. O. Box 457 .
Brooksville, FL 33512

Dear Don:

Enclosed herewith please find the City of St. Peters-
burg's application on behalf of Pasco County, Pinellas County,
and St. Petersburg, developers of the Cypress Creek Wellfield
having equal interest, for the consumptive use permit for the
Cypress Creek Wellfield.

The wellfield is not complete. A lengthy testing pro-
gram is planned. Therefore, it may be inappropriate to
establish regulatory levels now. However, sufficient data
is available to establish levels with reasonable accuracy
if the District should desire.

This application may be conditioned or the regulatory
method determined on peak weekly average pumping allowances.
This limit should be not less than 20 MGD between the period
of issue to October 1977. It is intended that sufficient
data would be available by October 1977 to determine and
establish rather exact regulatory levels for the wellfield.

It will be necessary for you to carefully word the
advertisement because of the total pumping capacity of the
wells within the wellfield.

It is requested that this matter be scheduled for this
