WATL,/SEWER DEPARTMENT

sj ="The Sunshine City" COUNCIL-MANAGER GOVERNMENT
October 29, 1975

-:

Mr. Donald R. Feaster, Executive Director .r-
Southwest Florida Water Management District '-' .
P. O. Box 457 sq, -
Brooksville, FL 33512 OC. 1

Dear Don: 1-

Enclosed herewith please find the City of St. Peters-
burg's applications for consumptive use permits for the
Cosme, Section 21, and South Pasco Wellfields. It will be
necessary for you to carefully word the advertisement be-
cause of the total pumping capacity of the wells within each
wellfield.

This application is for consideration of regulating the
wellfields based solely upon the regulatory levels presently
used for each wellfield. The change from the old regulatory
permits would be to remove pumping caps and to allow for a
five foot seasonal variation as provided for in the rules and
regulations.

One variation is requested in the South Pasco regulatory
levels. It is quite apparent that the present level estab-
lished for the SR 54 well is two feet higher than it should
be. Therefore, based upon existing data, it is requested that
this level be lowered by two feet.

It is requested this matter be scheduled for the October
Board meeting and may be considered as one public hearing if
you so desire. Our presentation to the Board will take approxi-
mately 20 minutes.

Very rluly yours,

William i. D ~slager,. P. E.
