FROJoseph W. Landers, Jr., Secretary JAN
DATE: January 12, 1979
SUBJECT: Amendments to the State Water Use Plan .

At the December 20, 1978 Public Hearing for the draft State Water Use Plan,
it was requested that concerned parties submit suggested language for
specific segments of the Plan which, in their opinion, required either
clarification or editing. For this purpose the department extended the
comment period for the Plan from December 20, 1978 through January 5, 1979.
The attached "suggested amendments" package represents a compilation of
specific recommended wording changes and deletions received by this
department. Please note that department staff supports some of these
amendments, and it is so noted on the amendments. However, this does not
reflect any final action on my part. --- -
As copies of Exhibits A D were available at the December 20 Public Hearing,
we have not included them in this mailout. If you did not receive copies
of these initial amendments, please write or call: Bureau of Water Management,
Department of Environmental Regulation, Twin Towers Office Building, 2600
Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32301; (904) 488-9560; attention:
