Dear Bruce:

Over the past several weeks we have been meeting with water
management district legal and technical staff in an effort
to revise state water policy using the October 23, 1980
draft as a point of departure. Meetings have been hold with
technical staff on November 13 in West Palm Beach and with
legal staff on December 5 in Tallahassee. More meetings
with water management district staff are set for early
January.

The schedule from this point on which I have established to
assure adoption prior to April is as follows:

December 15 January 7 Continued meetings with WMD
staff

January 9 Revised draft to WMD board
members

January 12 February 5 Meetings with state agencies,
( regulated interests, and
public interest groups

January 29 January 30 Discussion at quarterly
meeting in Palatka

February 5 Workshop draft available
