NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


Notice is hereby given that, on Wednesday, May 8, 1968, at 10:30 A.M., at the

official office of the Southwest Florida Water Management District, seven miles south

of Brooksville, Florida, on U. S. Highway #41, Brooksville, Florida, the Board of

Governors of the Southwest Florida Water Management District shall hear and receive

all testimony and evidence for the purpose of determining the necessity for naming the /

Weeki Wachee River, its natural floodway, tributaries, connecting channels and canals,

in Hernando County, Florida, a "Work of the District" under the authority of Chapter 378,

Florida Statutes and Chapter 357-1, Florida Administrative Code.

This notice shall be published once a week for two weeks in four newspapers of

general circulation in the State.
