Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately upon becoming

CHAPTER 63-849
HOUSE BILL NO. 958

AN ACT relating to Charlotte County; amending Section 14 of
Chapter 61-691, Laws of Florida, relating to the creation of the
Southwest Florida Wrater Management District, by striking Char-
lotte County from those counties excluded from said district;
providing effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
Section 1. Section 14 of chapter 61-691, Laws of Florida, is
amended to read:
Section 14. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this act the
counties of Dixie, Manatee and Sarasota shall not be included within
the boundaries of the southwest Florida water management district
and said counties shall not be liable for the payment of any of
the taxes provided for herein.
Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately upon becoming
a law.
Became a law without the Governor's approval. ,
