Your letter of September 19, 1967 re Southwest Florida Water
Management District versus W. C. Tinsley, et alii, requested
a check for $37,625.00, representing the appraised value of
three parcels in that suit. Your letter of October 12, 1967
transmitted your Southwest Florida Water Management District
Resolution No. 222 requesting $9,858 which represented the
additional funds awarded by the Court for these parcels.
At their meeting of 7 November 1967 the Florida Board of Conserva-
tion announced the following policy for commitments and disburse-
ments which may be authorized for water resource development
projects from the water resources development account within
budgetary limitations and legislative authorizations of funds.
Funds for the non-federal portion of construction costs will be
based upon the matching formula of the Congressional authorization.
Funds for bridge or utility relocation or construction will be
based upon the cost of design and construction. Funds f
participation in the purchase of land easements, or other r;iaht
will not exceed the acceptable appraised value or the Court awarded

established by Court Order, State water resources development

District will pav for surveys, maina, engineering reports,
appraisal fees attorney fees, title examination and other- incident
costs of the Dist r 7tthe seller. Wen--conemnation proceedings
are instituted, the Court will be requested by the District, based
on this policy, to reflect separately in. the Court Order, (a) the
value of land and (b) other costs.
Florida Board of Conservation Resolution WR-11 will authorize
payment of $5835 in reply to your Resolution No. 222,and a separate
warrant will be issued in this amount to "James F. Taylor,
Clerk of Circuit Court Registry, Hillsborough County, Florida."

A separate warrant for $37,625.00 will be issued as well. This
payment will be from the amount committed by Florida Board of
Conservation Resolution of April 18, 1967.
I am enclosing Florida Board of Conservation Resolutions for
commitment of funds which were issued in accordance with your
Resolutions Nos. 192, 193, and 198. These resolutions direct
the District to request any additional amounts required by the
Court by separate subsequent resolutions.
