Thinks the Doctors are After Him.
<'ol. ('. C. Post, husband iof Helen
Wilmans, who was recently iudicted
by the United States grand jury sitting
at Jacksonville, charged with the
fraudulent use of the mails, is resting
under the opinion that his prosecution
was incited by the doctors of the old

Lake City to Have State Fair.
Lake City gets the state fair. 'I his
much is practically decided. The
'air association met in Jacksonville on
last Tuesday and, after discussing the
matter in all its different ways, virtu-
ally d,'ided, that Lake ('ity was the
Ipropler plact to hold the next state
fair.
Hon. I. F. Rogers presented Lake
S'ity's claims, and a telegram to our
focal editor was the first news of our
sucees.- to reach the city. The propo-
sition made the fair association was
about as follows:1
"Forty acres of land, inclosed; build
a first class race track; erect grad
stands, cattle stalls, put in electric
lights, erect main hall and furni-sh
$I,NIt in cash."
The discussion leading up to time
selection of Lake City was very inter-
esting and Mr. Rogers proved a very
alie representative of our city.-lake
City Index.
