Brother Marion L. Payne, the spell-
binder, from Fairfield, was called ou

and mid that if his neighbor Floyd got
to the legislature and voted for a no
fence law he would not only be lynch-
ed but burned before he got home
good and the northern papers would
have another southern outrage to re-
