M r. James Mte'lyilonids, of Mexico,

Mr. .1vClymonds formerly lived at
('range LAke, where lie was interested
in,orange culture.
When his grove was swept away eby
the great freeze, lie immediately went
on a tour of inspection through South
America and Mexico, and finally
made a selection of a very fiue lody of
lands in the peninsular of Tehaunte-
pel., Mexico. lie has eight thousand
acres planted to sugar cane which i.,
perhaps, the largest sugar plantation
ion this continent and hle expects to
increase its capacity from year to
to year. He has also three hundred
acres planted to oranges and a large
acreage in cottee.
He hlia* fify thousand acres in one
body and thirteen thousand in an-
other, which he purchased for one
dollar per acre and has since been ot-
fered ten dollars per acre for same.
Mr. McClymonds says that his plan.
station is now on a paying basis and
the prospects are exceedingly pleas-
ing.

McClymonds, is in California and has
been since leaving Marion county also
successful, which will be pleasing in.

the marriage of Miss Betsy Sharpe and
