Hospital. He was 82.
McDuffie founded McDuffie's

store's operation until he retired
in 1989.
Jim Poole, Lake City/Columbia
County Chamber of Commerce
executive director, said he knew
McDuffie for close to 30 years.
"He was not only a very good
man, but most of us think of him
for his hunting and business abili-

McDuffie's store, first located
in the downtown area, was one of
the first sporting good stores in
Columbia County which catered
specifically to outdoor enthusi-

Later the store added boating
options, a move Poole said added
to Lake City's business climate.

TIME: Capsule artifacts will be interred for future generations
Continued From Page 1A

A sideshow with 1959
top musical hits was played
and the audience also
viewed a video of the 1959
Centennial Event.
Joe Persons and Tom
Brown, graduates of the
CHS class of 1959, revealed
the objects in the capsule
and as the items were
taken from the time cap-
sule, each was discussed

and shown to the audience.
"The items will be pre-
served and be on display.
at the Lake City/Columbia
County Museum for a
while," Kite said. "Then,
we'll be building another
time capsule that will have
two compartments. It'll
have a 1959 compartment
and a 2009 compartment
and we'll rebury those

items at the end of our
year-long celebration in
December."
Officials are uncertain
whether the next time cap-
sule will be buried in the
ground or actually placed
in the City Hall vault. They
are also uncertain what
items will be contained in
the 2059 time capsule.
Kite said the capsule

opening wa an important
part of the city's sesquicen-
tennial celebration.
"I found that a lot of
people are really interested
in how Lake City was about
that time around 1959 and
how it's grown, moved
forward and changed,"
she said. "Some of the
things have changed, but
some the things are still

here as well. Opening the.
time capsule set into their
interest as to what people
of 1959 may have thought
was important at that time.
What seemed to be impor-
tant by what I saw in the
time capsule was commu-
nity. I think that's still true
today. I think a lot of sug-.,
gestions people are going,
to give are going to reflect
back on the community."

Brain Oxygen-Boosting

Miracle Energizes Mind,

Mood and Memory

New pill sharpens focus, clears away brain

fog, erases 15 years of lost memory power!

For those readers seriously
concerned or even embarrassed
by forgetting that important
name, date or to-do item again,
here's some welcome news!
A world-renowned brain re-
search university has announced
the successful testing of a mem-
ory pill that can reclaim as much
as 10, even 15 years of mental
decline and lost brainpower.
It's a fast-acting formula de-
veloped by US clinical research
scientist and best-selling author
Joshua Reynolds that took years
to perfect.
For close to 40 years,
Reynolds studied more than 1.5
million human brains, analyzing
countless brain scans of older
people and researching thou-
sands of natural ingredients.
Procera AVH contains the
three premier brain energy nutri-
ents in precise, clinically tested
doses. Reynolds calls acetyl
-1-camitine, huperzine and vin-
pocetine, "the. 3 Miracle Mem-
ory Molecules!"
Are Aging Brains
Starved for Oxygen?
Reynolds explains his for-
mula's success. "It's a simple
concept; an aging brain can't

catch its breath. Once you reach
50, you may have already lost
half your brain power. At that
age, your brain is literally gasp-
ing for oxygen."
' "With each passing birthday,
less and less oxygen gets to your
starving brain cells as a result of
toxic build-up and impaired neu-
rotransmitter capacity," he adds.
"Severely depleted neuro-
transmitters dull your cognitive
powers, constricting your ability
to concentrate, to remember
things, and to make even the
simplest decisions."
"Procera AVH fixes all of
that," he says. Users report that
mental focus returns and mem-
ory powers snap back to where
they were 10, even 15 years ago..
"I was forgetting my em-'
ployees' names and it was really
embarrassing," says user Jeff P.
"After a week on Procera, I
started remembering them again
and I was much more focused
and self-confident."
Procera AVH increases the
blood circulation in the brain,
flooding oxygen-starved cells
With fresh supplies of energizing
oxygen and vital brain nutrients.
It gets the neurons fired up
again!

The result? Users say the ef-
fects are felt quickly, like putting
on a pair of prescription' eye.
glasses for the very first time.
Everything becomes clear and
focused like \vhen we were
young.
"It's amazing, I felt sharper,
more focused and alive in just

Tillotson has All-American tryout

Columbia High player
seeks to make Aflac
team at Metrodome.
By TIM KIRBY
tkirby@lakecityreporter.com
Jacob Tillotson returned Monday
from the spring home of the Marlins
and Cardinals, and is headed to an
even more impressive venue.
The Columbia High player was
invited to the Perfect Game's
National Showcase in .Minnesota
and will try out for the All-American,
Aflac Team at the Metrodome.

"I am very thankful for get-
ting the opportunity to go to the
Metrodome and try out," Tillotson
said, "It should be fun."
Tillotson, who has made a verbal
commitment to the University of
Florida, is one of 150 players invited
from throughout the United States.
"It is a very prestigious nation-
al tournament," former Lake City
Community College head coach Tom
Clark said. "Every Major League
team usually has a couple of scouts
there and every major college in the
country will be at the tryouts."
Tillotson plays travel ball dur-
ing the summer, as well as with

Columbia's summer team. He was
at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter
over the weekend for a tournament
and will leave for Minnesota on
Wednesday.
The tryouts are June 11-14.,
Clark said 38 players will be cho-
sen and Tillotson said the East and
West teams will be filled from the
invitees to Minnesota. The tryout
is for players who will be seniors in
the fall. The two squads will square
off against each other in August.
'To be invited to the tryout is an
honor," Clark said. 'The tryouts
