Cdr. Cornett,who will be reporting to the staff of Commander Sea Based Anti-

Submarine Warfare Wings Atlantic Fleet, has been in the ASW community for

16 years. With Cdr. Cornett commanding, the squadron completed a successful

x deployment to SigoneDa, Sicily supporting the U.S. Sixth Fleet throughout the

Mediterranean area. !

Commander of the Reserve Patrol Wings Atlantic, Capt. William H.

Saunders, III, completed a four day inspection and visit of reserve Patrol
Squadron (VP) 62 here at NAS Jax Saturday.
Capt. Saunders also met with the active and inactive reserve officers to inform

them of the important and continuing role oT the reserve ASW program in today's
Navy. Also discussed was activity at the Wing level and trends to expect in the r..

VP community.All .

including ASW flights. He also held talks with LCdr. Gerald H. Mollencop who is

VP-62 was praised by Capt. Saunders for continuing to maintain it's position as
