sixth straight year as the search begins around to world to find the 1
military wife who best represents the 1% million wives of the
men
serving in the United States Armed Forces. The program focuses

attention on the large-scale voluntary efforts expended by these ,
women In fostering better human relationships around the globe
through their involvement and participation in public service pro- a


grams.The current 1971 title holder is Mrs. Jan Squires, wife of Person. ..ll w4I s MIw

nelman First Class Jim Squires, stationed at Lowry AFB, Denver,
Colo. She became the first Navy and enlisted man's wife to win the

honors.
