holiday in Vietnam.
This year,Jacksonville Jaycees are again spearheading Operation G.I. Christmas Card locally
after the idea proved more successful than any of their other programs in expressing this.nation
gratitude for their efforts.
The nationwide operation is directed to school children whose candid, hand-made cards provide a
special appeal to the soldier.
The project is being supported by the Commander,Naval Forces Vietnam,RAdm.R.S.Saber,who
provided his FPO address for the distribution and appointed a Navy chaplain as program director.
The goal this year Is one million cards.They can either be bought or hand-made and addressed by
