DR. WILSON OF REDDICK FOUND
IN HELPLESS CONDITION.

Could Give No Account of Himself
When Questioned, and Sheriff
* Appealed to by Citizens.

Dr. Wilson of Reddick, one of the
old citizens of that place, was found
on Monday morning near the home
of Alderman Graves, in North Gaines.
ville, In a most pitiable condition.
Ile had arrived on the late Coast
Line train Sunday afternoon from the
south, and remained about the walt-
ing-room until dark, when he left and
began hib wanderings.
For some time the old gentleman
has been iu a demented state, and
was only recently found near Atlanta
and returned to his home, and his ab-
sence from that place now is probably
not known by members of his family.
for he has lived almost alone for some
time.
At one time he was very successful
in his practice, but lately hlil failing
health and advanced age has affected
his mind. So much t-o, in fact. that
all practice has been given up, und
in his present state he in allowed to
go about that locality, occasionally
getting out of the place, as he did
Sunday.
When found on Monday morning
he was very thinly clad and had been
in the rain and bad weather all during
the night. until about 10 o'clock Mon-
day morning. when he was taken In
tby friends In that pirt of the c(it
ind comfortably cared for.
After a rest and prolwr care, for a
rew days he will prohlaly he return-
ed to his home at Reddick. ainl In the
future some of his family w ill t.e (-co
pe-lled to keep it better watch over
him, lest he relteat his actions alln
get off soni>'where nnd dlie while thus
being exposed.
While the old man Is perfectly harm-
less, he attracted a good deal of at-
tention from all who saw him. and
In fact a large nuniber of the pIpile
were frightened at his actions, for he
could give no account of hlnimself.
name, where frorn. or anything. until
someone who knew him happened
along.

The performance will be presented
at the New Baird Theatre on Decem-

within a few days. and a great treat
