BONDING i0R HARD ROADS.

The News is in favor of bonding
Volusla county for the purpose of
building hardroada. Because: Bond-
ing gives uas the money for immediate
use and allows ua to pay It beck while
we are getting the use of the roads
for which the money is apent
But before we agree po support any
bonding proportion, several things
must be settled.
Ihrit-By whom to the money to
be spent?
Second--lpw is the money to be
spent? (What roads are to be Improv-
'd and iwhat material Is to Le used?)
Third-For many years the people
of Volusla county have been heavily
taxed and the money spent on roads.
A road would be improved one year
and abandoned for another route the
year following. This Is all right for

Judge Wills pending good behavior.

to the recent term of courWwas for
vagrancy, for which he served three

appearance, and It Is to be hoped that
he will not abump the trust reposed in
him by the kind-hearted Judge. Sheriff
Ramsey paid the boys railroad fare

and If he again gets Into trouble he
need not expect any leniency at the

opes that Pate will "make good."
He is a bright lad, and It is probable
that evil aladed assoo ate are more

anything else.
