After our examination of the Experi-

Mr. Hes, who shows us his collection
of plants and who also indicates what
experiments are being carried on. A
lying tripacross the farms, stopping
to glaneq at the pool where Mr. Hess
has a fine collection of acquatic and
sguilacquatic plants, we pass on
hurriedly and come to the swimming-
pool, which was formerly a large sink-
hole, but has been fitted up in a
modern manner.
We did not viilt the gymnasium and
athletic fields, but went on to the shop.
Here we found a very creditable as-

tools, and we were surprised by the
skill and profIclency of the students
as displayed In the samples of their

hear Miss Schmidt sing, both of
whom pleased us greatly by their
renditions. At the close of their play-
ing Dr. Sledd made a short and in-
formal address. In this he told of
the work of the University, compared
it with the other higher institutions
of learning In the South, and showed
why all the friends of the institution
should feel proud of what It has al-
ready accomplished and hopeful as to
Its future.

The cause of all skin troubles can be traced to some kind of humor
in the blood. Smooth, healthy skins are only possible where the circu-

come through a thorough cleansing of this vital fluid. Salvqs, washes,
lotions, etc., are valuable only for their ability to keep th bkin clean,
allay the itching, and tend to reduce inflammation; they cannot correct
the trouble because they do not reach the blood.
