It's that time again. Homecoming is a
364 day a year job," one official said.
As soon as we get through with this year's
we've got to start on next year."
Here's a little preview of what will go
on this weekend. And photo editor Nick
Arroyo was considerate enough to make
it in color.
Above are the three lovely ladies who
are running for homecoming queen. From
left they are Judy Silver Carol Eastman
and Sharon Lynn.
In the middle of the page split end Mike
McCann snares a pass against Northwestern.
The crane in the background is gone now--
thank goodness.
At right Wayne Barfield kicks a field goal
against North Carolina State (photo by Ger Gerald
ald Gerald Jones) and at the far right Donna Berger
leaps after the Gators score against Miss Mississippi
issippi Mississippi State.
It's an interesting way to see what's on
tapto look into the past.

Gator Growl, billed as the largest student
produced and run show in the world will
start tonight in the stadium at 8 p.m. Pre-
Growl is slated to begin at 7.
Above is a scene from one of this year's
Growl skits.
At right the cheerleaders build a human
pyramid at the North Carolina State game.
Below Harmon Wages, quarterback of the
Jetts (second team Gators) gallops in
for a score against Northwestern.
The 6-0 Gators are ready according
to head coach Ray Graves for the big one
Saturday against Auburn.
(Photo of cheerleaders by Gerald Jones.
Photo Editor Nick Arroyo took the rest.)
