ABSTRACT

This report is one of a series for selected counties in Florida
designated to compile secondary data from several sources into one
document. The purpose is twofold: first, to present useful infor-
mation in a readily usable form; and second, to provide a list of
sources for obtaining more detailed data on related topics. Subjects
covered include general social and economic characteristics of the
population, housing, the economy and labor force characteristics,
and data related to the public sector.

Key words: Florida counties, economic
development, data information.

development, rural

This publication is one of several similar reports in which
data relating to rural development in various counties in Florida
are presented. It is a contribution from the Center for Rural
Development in The Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at
the University of Florida.
