Minnesota Ave. on June 18. Florida Highway Patrol Trooper M.D. Childress report of the crash (the aftermath of which is shown above) indicates Ms. Thompson, 31, escaped injury but her passengers Devin Thompson, 37, and Cooper Thompson, 6, suered minor injuries, as did the drivers of the other two vehicles, a 2000 Toyota and 2005 Jeep SUV. Ms. Thompon, whose van was heading south on S. 5th St. behind the Toyota, said she was distracted by her children, ages 4 and 6, when the accident occurred. She at tempted to steer left, but struck the left rear of the Toyota, which rotated clock wise and collided with the stationary Jeep, which had been facing east on S. Minnesota Ave. All occupants involved were wearing seat belts and were taken to Fraser Hospital for evaluation or treatment. All three vehicles sustained an estimated $3500 in damage. The Toyota was driven by Jeremy Lunn, 36, with passenger Kayla Gaylard-Lunn, 10, both of Glen St. Mary. Kristina Johnson, 23, of Macclenny was at the wheel of the Jeep.
