ONE YEAR COURSE IN
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Applications are invited from suitably quali-
fied candidates who wish to be considered for the
one-year Diploma course in International Relations
conducted by the Institute of International Rela-
tions, U.W.I., Trinidad, commencing in October,
1969.
The course deals in a comprehensive manner
with the political, legal, institutional and economic
aspects of international relations.
Admission to the course is usually restricted
to University graduates but admission is possible in
exceptional cases for candidates without a Universi-
ty degree who have considerable professional ex-
perience and satisfy the conditions of an entrance
examination. An award will be made finally
following approval and confirmation by the appro-
priate authorities that the candidate has been ac-
cepted.
Applications stating full name and address,
age, standard of education, present employment,
experience and qualifications should be addressed
to the Secretary, Public Service Commission.
Members of the Public Service should submit their
applications through their Heads of Departments
and all other persons direct to the Commission by
the 26th May, 1969.
The award will provide return passages,
subsistence allowance grant, book allowance,
tuition fees and transportation in connection with
the course.
The candidate to whom the award is made
will be required to sign an agreement to serve the
Government for a period of up to five years after
completion of his studies.
