Papiamento and Dutch are the t\%o official languages in Aruba English is
recognized a,; an international language and therefore is a mandatory subject as
early as the 4th grade in primarN school. Spanish is taking on equal importance and
is also taught as earl. as the 5th grade of primary, school. French is taught in high
school as an optional language.
