Swcct Southern airs and flowery blooms
Of the magnolia's rare perfumes,

Fair Florida, far down the sea.







et us answer a few of the questions you would naturally ask in spiking
of Mt. Dora; one of the most beautiful places in the state of Florida.
1st. We are situated in Lake Co. near the centre of the state and twenty
miles due west of Sanford; on a ridge of high rolling pine land.
2nd. To reach this place, take the Atlantic Coast Line to Sanford, thence to
Mt.Dora. You make close connections. Or take the Clyde Line St. John's Riv-
er Boat to Sanford thence to Mt.Dora by rail. Or, you can take the Seaboard
Air Line R. R. to Tavares, and from there a delightful trip across the lake to
Mt.Dora. If you take the latter route it is necessary to send word to have
the steamer meet you at Tavares.
3d. We have the finest high, dry, pine land*in the state, Within a mile of us
is the highest elevation in this part of the state. It is an ideal place for those
suffering from lung and throat troubles or neuralgia or rheumatism.

also deer and turkeys within a few miles.
