The Palm Beach School for Girls

N general, the method of the school is based on the belief that Method
the fundamental of teaching is to arouse the peculiar and
innate power of the child. Such a belief demands the study of the
individual pupil and it seeks to discover the child's special apti-
tudes and difficulties. This intensive study is made possible by
the small classes, which are limited to eight or ten pupils. Self-
dependence is developed by establishing good study habits, power,
by emphasizing drill and habit formation. Intelligence and edu-
cational tests are used.

T HE teachers are carefully chosen, not only because of train- Instructors
ing and experience, but because of their interest in children
and their enthusiasm for the profession of teaching.

rTHE school is founded on the belief, that it is not static nor General
Complete, but like all things which are vital and growing, it Aim
pledges itself to continuous progress and development.
