General Note: This photographs shows the tomb of Cyrus Teed, known to his followers in Estero as "Koresh". He died in 1908 and was placed in this tomb on the south end of the island, near Big Carlos Pass. Carl Leuttich and others stayed in this cabin keeping watch on the tomb. Although the caption says the hurricane of 1910 washed it away, it was actually the hurricane of 1921.
