General Note: the three story cigar factory of Cuesta-Rey & Co. could be seen at the corner of Howard Ave. and Ponce deLeon St. It was erected in 1895 for the Havana-Key West Cigar Co., the second brick factory to be built in West Tampa. To celebrate their annual production the Cuesta-Rey & Co. cigar factory had a banquet at the end of each year, it was referred to as "The Truly Spanish House," and was held at the Atlanta Restaurant in West Tampa.
