General Note:
The Corral Wodiska Company purchased the "Julia Marlowe" label, named after the famous Shakespearian actress. Edward Wodiska, colorful entrepreneur of the firm was reputedly friends with Miss Marlowe. The label was copyrighted by the Tobacco Leaf Publishing Company in 1900 to the original owners, the M. Lorente Company. On the back of the certification were a list of other firms controlling the label before it became the property of Corral Wodiska
