Los murales del Canal de Panamai, instalados desde 191J Ai Edii. de la Administraci6n del Canal de Panami en los Altos de Balboa, son obra del artista neoyorquino Wiliam B. Van Ingen, quien fue escogiG., para este proyecto especial por el ingeniero jefe del Canal George W. Goethals. Estas maravillosas obras de arte narran la historia de la construcci6n del Canal de Panamai en cuatro escenas. LA OBRA REPRODUCIDA EN ESTA TARJETA, POR CORTESIA DE LA COMISION DEL CANAL DE PANAMA, REPRESENTA LA CONSTRUCCION DE UNA ALCANTARILLA EN EL MURO LATERAL DE LAS ESCLUSAS DE MIRAFLORES.
The murals of the Panama Canal, installed from 1915 in the rotunda of the Administration Buildingat Balboa Heights, Republic of Panama, are the work of New York artist William B. Van Ingen, who was carefully chosen for this special project by Chief Canal Engineer, George W. Goethals. These monumental works of art tell the overall story of the building of the Panama Canal in four main scenes. THROUGH THE COURTESY OF THE PANAMA CANAL COMMISSION, THIS CARD REPRODUCES THE MURAL THAT SHOWS THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDE WALL CULVERT AT MIRAFLORES LOCKS.
