Abstract:
Clinical and Translational Science Informatics and Technology (CTS-IT) is a research support unit handling clinical and research informatics. We provide research solutions to the UF Health and Shands research community and can help you with all of your informatics needs CTS-IT provides a variety of research-related services ranging from IT infrastructure design and software development to active involvement with the informatics component of research grant applications. CTS-IT can provide support in all stages of the research process: discover, gather, create, and share.

The HCV Target project uses REDi to load clinical lab data from multiple study sites directly into REDCap This reduces the cost of data collection while improving data quality and expediting data acquisition.! Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) is a data aggregation tool for research. When accompanied by our RED-i Tools, automatic data import from various sources such as Epic or Excel spreadsheets becomes a simplified process.! SOME OF OUR CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE: VIVO is an open source software system for research discovery. Originally developed at Cornell University, VIVO was enhanced though a large NIH ARRA award to a consortium of seven schools led by the University of Florida.
