5th Annual Florida Statewide Symposium - Engagement in Undergraduate Research
Wrublewski, Donna Ochoa, Marilyn
For undergraduates beginning research, one of the first tasks they engage in is background information gathering. For students new to college library resources, the resource choices and sheer amount of information can be overwhelming. This talk will describe a structured approach to introduce undergraduates to the basics of information literacy and library research, with the goal of identifying learned skills that should be incorporated into any assessment of student development in an undergraduate research program.
