There were 30 nominations for OA Champion, which will be determined by the ULC. Christine will draft an award letter to accompany certificates that are distributed by selectors after the fact. b. Posters – One poster was submitted by a library employee and approved enthusiastically by the committee. Committee members will be present with their posters; when attendance is not possible, colleagues will be recruited to fill in. Posters include Public Health/Public Access from Beth and Rae, Fair Use from Christine, Law Review and the new IR from Jenny, Copyright Considerations on the Retrospective Dissertation Scanning Project from Christine and Christy, IR@UF from Dina, and potential Orange Grove Texts Plus publicity materials from the University Press. Dina will pick up easels from Marston and bring binder clips and mounted posters from the DLC to serve as temporary backing. c. Finalize programs/review itinerary—Barbara Hood’s language for Open Access Week events is appropriate for individual publicity by subject specialists and can be found via the library homepage. Christine will be assisting at Graduate Research Day at the Reitz Union on the 23rd but does not anticipate a time conflict. III. Future of SCWG a. Membership – Committee members discussed a 3 year term limit, referring to the original draft charge to the working group, as found on the LibGuide. Potential ex officio members were mentioned, including the IR coordinator and/or University Archivist. b.
