Abstract: A survey of the UF Digital Collections, the Institutional Repository at UF, and digital open access publishing currently undertaken by the Smathers Libraries, as well as a presentation of the policies and procedures followed by the Digital Library Center to optimize access to digital materials. There is also a section presenting why the UF Libraries chose Open Journal System (OJS) as its e-journal publishing platform.
